I edited the picture, so it fits in with the genre of my magazine, and looks more professional.

I decided to use this picture for my double page spread, as it has room for text on the right, and this way the person in the picture is looing directly at the text.

i added more pictures at the bottom of the contents page. I was going to add more text, but the pictures made it look fuller.

I added pagenumbers, and stories in a right hand coloum, i also page numbered the pictures, this allows th audience to know what they are looking for staright away.

i added borders to make the contents look more tidy and proffesinal.

I started my contents using pictures i had taken for my magaizne.

I added more cover stories, to inform the audience what is in the magazine, and i added "win tour tickets" this is to persuade the audience into buying the magazine.

I added a picture behind the masthead, to make the masthead stand out more against everything else, the picture also fits in with the name "cosmic" i also added a cover story "new tour dates" this persuades the audience into buying the magazine.

I added a date, price, and slogan to my magazine.

I needed a masthead, so i chose to use my old masthead, but cut the name of my magazine just to "cosmic" as it was obvious that my magazine is a magazine.

I added a subheading, to the main heading, and again added a black box, the subheading is a connotation of a magazine so therefore allows it to look more professional.

Because the headline "the white lies" wasn't clear against the background i added a black box across the width of the magazine, this allows the headline to stand out, and allows it to be easier to read.

I decided to stay with the mahogany colour, and add a title of "the white lies" this is the name of my band.
I wanted the text white as it fits in with the name of the band.

I changed the colour to a mahogany colour, this still allows the picture to be bright and eye catching, and as one of my house style colours is a purple/brown like mahogany it fits in with my house style colours, therefore allowing consistency.

I changed the colour to an orangery colour, to make the cover more bright and eye catching, although having the colour orange will go against my house style colours and therefore my magazine will not be consistent.

I have edited the picture i took, for my front cover however i think the colours may not work for a front cover, i want them more eye catching, although this picture may work on my double page spread.

These three colours are the house style colours i am going to use through out my magazine, by having a set three colours it allows consistency through out, and makes my magazine look more professional.

There are a number of different pictures, i took for my magazine. There's Kelly Clarkson on tour, pictures of my friends, i have edited all of the pictures, and some i am using whthin my magazine.

I took this picture at freedom festival, i think it may look good on my contents page.
